CES 2009
January 11th, 2009
Astro's recap of the show.
No matter where you turned in the 1.7 million square feet of exhibit space at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Showcase (CES) it seemed you couldn’t help but find yourself in front of an award-winning Astro design.
First and foremost, our very own Astro Gaming gear (on display at the Dolby booth and HP’s Gaming PC Pavilion) was highlighted as part of G4 TV’s ’09 CES coverage. The A40 Audio System was also recognized as a CES Innovation Honoree for what has become the dominant headset on the Major League Gaming circuit.
In fact it seemed that wherever there was gaming at CES, Astro was there. Thanks to our work with past clients Xbox and Alienware our designs could be found at displays from Nvidia to Microsoft to Intel.
Other Astro achievements included taking home a second CES Innovation Honoree Award for the Ooma Telo, being selected as a Finalist for “Best of Show” for the HP Firebird Desktop Computer and finally, the Astro designed Yoostar Home Theatre System was featured in the Keynote Speech given by CES CEO/President Gary Shapiro.
All in all it was an amazing 3 days for Astro and it’s looking like next year is going to be even better. Can’t wait...
