The ’90s forever changed design. It was the rise of internet, faster and more powerful computers, new software and the start of rapid prototyping. Design was now digital.
For the second year in a row, Astro partnered with the Letterform Archive to create the San Francisco Design Week exhibition. From brand identity and advertising to products and packaging, the selection illustrated the impact technology had on this transformative decade. We examined the evolution of processes from analog to early digital and how the design industry shifted over time.
