Astro worked with the San Francisco Marathon to help refresh their brand Identity for the new virtual race.
San Francisco is known for many things, its rich culture, and landscape, its vibrant personality and history, but most iconically, its golden-orange bridge that is the gate to the bay. It has captivated Olympic-style dreams, international acclaim for its challenging and beautiful course, and lastly, recognition among runners for being the only marathon in the city.
Taking the race Virtual
2020 was a year no one expected and for the racing community, the thought of race culture would be a thing of the past. The San Francisco Marathon took their race virtual and by doing so they opened up an entirely new category of racing. Racing when you want and where you want lead to more participants around the world enjoying a race they might not have been able to do without travel.
