    Kyle Swen (Astro’s VP & Partner in Crime) grew up riding his Dad’s 1972 Yamaha 650. So after he shipped it out here, the studio demanded he bring it in for closer inspection. Kyle agreed and after a little “Swen-gineering” he completed the 32-mile “inaugural” California commuter ride to the office. When asked about the ride, he rubbed a few body parts and commented that the ride was “a little rough, but worth it.” Like Kyle, the 650 is a classic. Both a long way from Minnesota, but still running as smooth as ever.

    Astro hosts the first annual GDC afterparty.

    Last week during the 09 Game Developers Conference (GDC) Astro hosted a designer, gamer, industry love fest at Astro’s Global HQ.

    Apart from the usual party action, DJs Mick Relm, Astro’s Vitamin Devo, and DJ Brendan Walsh peeled the paint off walls while the game play continued.

    Astro Gaming provided pro gaming gear bags from their Transport Series to be the celebrity “swag bags” for the 2009 Spike TV Video Gaming awards, ‘09 Grammy Awards and the ‘09 NBA All-star game via EA Sports.

    They carry valuable gaming gear for pro gamers...and now all sorts of contraband for the celebrity elite too!
